Orchard Alliance, the stewardship and generosity ministry of The Christian and Missionary Alliance (The Alliance), has been serving individuals and churches where faith and finance meet for over sixty years.

We currently have an opening for someone who is passionate about marketing and all things digital. We’re building a new brand and need a creative and skilled marketer to join our team. If that’s you, keep reading!

This position focuses on implementing marketing and social media strategies, executing email campaigns, and customer journeys, supporting events, and contributing to customer segmentation efforts. Reports to the Vice President for Marketing and is a key technical contributor on the marketing team, drawing on experience to impact marketing to existing and prospective customers.

Primary Duties:

  • Implement marketing strategies across social channels, email, website, events, etc.
  • Regularly update websites and social channels with new content to build audience engagement
  • Use CRM to build marketing campaigns, customer journeys, and events, and monitors performance
  • Leverage CRM to maintain marketing lists and segmented audiences to ensure content delivery
  • Report on key performance indicators to demonstrate success and effectiveness of marketing activities
  • Ensure marketing communications adhere to brand standards, voice, grammar, etc.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of related education and experience

Experience:

  • 2+ years of marketing, communications, and/or social media experience
  • Proven success executing marketing and social media strategies, communications, and email campaigns
  • Effective time management including the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, building strong working internal and external relationships
  • Experience with marketing automation, journeys, email, and CRM software preferred
  • Experience with social media platforms and social scheduling/listening tools preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Canva, WordPress, Squarespace, and project management software preferred
  • Experience with video and/or livestream, and interview skills preferred

We are a nonprofit financial stewardship ministry that provides churches, individuals, families, and other like-minded organizations with a wide range of products and services.

This position has a focus on Orchard Alliance’s Power BI reporting, data purity, and data research using established tools and data environments.

  • Assist in the maintenance of database schemas and data organization across various Orchard Alliance systems

  • May translate abstract business requirements into actionable technical requirements for reporting and database research projects performed by others

Due to the transition of accounting systems from Microsoft Great Plains to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, there are additional procedures, processes, and workpapers to perform related to this years’ audit.

This position has a focus on supporting enhancements to Orchard Alliance’s church loan underwriting process. This 2024 initiative includes the re-tooling of church loan applications, underwriting, review, and funding with the goal of a simpler process for church volunteers and church leaders seeking to obtain church property financing.

  • Assist in processing loan applications, ensuring receipt of all required documentation, reviewing financial and other data, and preparing application materials for various loan approval bodies.
