We are a nonprofit financial stewardship ministry that offers a wide range of products and services to churches, individuals, families, and other like-minded organizations. This position focuses on communicating with customers via phone, email, or face-to-face to provide an exceptional customer experience.

Primary duties:

• Prepare nonprofit accounting journal entries and related accounting schedules
• Prepare A/P, A/R
• Process charitable contributions and distributions, including stock gifts
• Reconcile cash and investment brokerage accounts
• Prepare fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and related journal entries
• Prepare and distribute various financial reports and analyses such as department expenses, subledger reports, budget-to-actual reports, and dashboards.
• Complete tax, regulatory, and other compliance-related filings as directed by the Controller in compliance with federal, state, and local laws

Experience Desired:

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred
• Experience with banking, non-profit accounting, and accounting programs preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred
  – Microsoft Excel
  – Microsoft Office Suite
  – Microsoft Business Central

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
