Orchard Alliance is pleased to introduce Scott Kubie as its new President, effective September 1, 2022.

“Scott’s hiring is a clear indication that Orchard Alliance has embraced a position of strength and relevance to The Alliance,” said Board Chair, David Zollner. “Orchard Alliance is poised for increased growth and greater impact as a thought leader on stewardship and generosity within The Alliance. Scott will lead our team in achieving those goals.”

“My goal is to build on the achievements of the past 60 years and lead our team to serve the Alliance family.”

Kubie comes to Orchard Alliance from his role as Senior Investment Strategist with Carson Group in Omaha, NE, where he led the investment strategy team and communicated about the investment environment to advisors partnering with Carson Group. Before joining Carson Group, he spent 20 years, primarily as Chief Investment Strategist, at CLS Investments, a money management firm that had over $7 billion under management. Kubie holds a bachelor’s in Economics and Business, an MBA, the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and has taught investment classes at the University of Nebraska Omaha. He has been a guest on Bloomberg’s The Open, CNBC’s Nightly Business Report, and has been quoted in Yahoo! Finance, U.S. News and World Report, and other financial publications.

Alongside his professional career, Scott has served The Alliance as the Treasurer and an Elder for nine years at Christ Community Church in Omaha, NE. “I am excited to assume the role of President of Orchard Alliance, which takes advantage of my investing, leadership, and strategic strengths and pairs them with my passion for serving God and helping the church be a better bride,” says Kubie. “Orchard Alliance is uniquely positioned to help Alliance churches grow during this unprecedented transfer of wealth. As we help those giving and receiving make a big impact for the Kingdom, our stewardship initiatives can help Alliance churches thrive. My goal is to build on the achievements of the past 60 years and lead our team to serve the Alliance family.”

Scott, 54, and his wife Cherie have two sons, Raef, 23, and Ross, 7. Favorite outdoor hobbies of the Kubie family include hiking and playing sports. From wiffle ball and baseball in the backyard to disc golf, basketball, and exercise, the Kubies are an active family. Their lower-intensity activities include reading, puzzles, games, and watching sports. They are currently in the process of preparing to relocate from Omaha to Colorado Springs.

We invite you to pray with us for the following:

For Scott: For favor, grace, and insight as he leads as president of Orchard Alliance. For wisdom as he develops relationships with our board, team, and leaders within The Alliance. For productive time in the field with church leaders, finding new and meaningful ways for us to support churches.

For Cherie and Ross as they adjust to Scott being at Orchard Alliance during the week and as they all prepare to move to Colorado Springs later this year.

For the Orchard Alliance staff as we begin working with our new leader.

Please join us in welcoming Scott to the Orchard Alliance team.
