Ministry Highlight: Living Rock Church
For more than 22 years, Living Rock (C&MA) Church in Norwood Young America, Minnesota, has been a “portable church” meeting in various public schools. Though grateful for how God has drawn them together as a tight-knit, Christ-centered family in an ever-broadening community, Living Rock leaders and attendees have shared a yearning to expand their ministry impact by establishing a permanent presence in . . .
From the Board Chairman
2024 has been a year of growth and stability for Orchard Alliance. We finished the year on very strong financial footing, assuring that your investments remain secure, productive, and put to good use in advancing Christ’s Kingdom.
Your investments provided more than $28 million in funding to help Alliance churches and ministries expand their influence and reach. Your tax-wise giving supplied more than $16 million in grants and donations to Alliance churches, ministries, Christian organizations, and charities.
The Orchard team continues to serve its investors, ministry partners, and churches with excellence. It has been gratifying for me to witness how the team places such a high value on building and sustaining relationships. Investors are not merely “clients” but Christ-honoring Kingdom stewards. Churches holding loans are not merely borrowers but gospel outposts working tirelessly to welcome the weary, wounded, and wandering while discipling those growing in their faith. And pastors are more than just church leaders and shepherds—they are vital partners in establishing a culture of stewardship and generosity within their congregations to fulfill God’s plans and purposes for their churches. Orchard Alliance delights in every opportunity to join together with our investors, churches, and church leaders in serving Christ’s Kingdom in our U.S. communities and throughout the world.
After having first been elected to serve on the Alliance Development Fund Board in 2010 and the Orchard Alliance Board in 2018, I was honored to have been entrusted with the role of Orchard’s Board Chairman this past fall. I stand on the shoulders of our outgoing board chair, David Zollner, who served on the Board for 25 years, helping lead Orchard through significant transitions and a season of fruitfulness that continues to flourish.
In 2025 and beyond, Orchard Alliance remains fully committed to supporting the ministries of our Alliance churches and international workers, offering Alliance people opportunities to invest in Kingdom-advancing initiatives that align with their faith values, and providing practical stewardship resources and services to the greater Alliance family.
Thank you for continuing to allow us to serve and partner with you where Faith & Finance meet.
This is the way any person is to regard us: as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. —1 Corinthians 4:1
